Kristopher James Parrish (USAF E-6 Retired)
Georgetown Protective Services
Role: Director of Operations
What drives me? Honor and Excellence in All I Do
I am a highly qualified armed Executive Protection Agent offering 20 years in diverse policing positions. I have planned, supervised and executed over 200 armed Executive Protection operations for high-ranking Department of Defense officials in both passive and high threat environments. I have managed security risks with ease and used sound judgement to quickly resolve problematic situations. I strive at being a dynamic, natural leader with a decisive nature resulting in the achievement of great relationship-building in all my professional and personal endeavors. Prior to joining the Georgetown Protection Services team, I retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years of honorable service specializing in law enforcement and security operations in the Security Forces career field as a federal law enforcement officer.
Throughout my active duty service I deployed to over 20 different countries often located in many combat zones engaging in some wartime action in various parts of Iraq and Afghanistan. During that time frame I received multiple commendations including citations for meritorious service from the Army, Air Force and the National Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). The proudest moment of my military career was being given the esteemed opportunity to provide close protection to General Jim Mattis (Former Secretary of Defense)
while he was the Commander of US Central Command. When I’m not on the job, you can find me at home in Woodbridge, VA enjoying time with my wife Lora and my 10 year old daughter Ania Grace along with my dog Athena. I am a huge sports fan, my favorite sport is football and I am a huge follower of the University of Tennessee Volunteers and the Tennessee Titans. I am originally from Lexington, TN and my dad was also an Air Force veteran which was the biggest reason why I joined.
